Well, Presbycusis is the loss of hearing that gradually occurs in most people as they grow older. But those symptoms do not occur in that case. Acoustic neuromas, on the other hand does cause dizziness and balance problems aswell as tinnitus. She might be 86, but (A) fits more to her condition.

This a quiz? First thought was A, and still is. (This answer was used without looking anything up, I'm a nursing student testing my knowledge you can double check it but this is just general information) Acoustic Neuromas. It probably is something with the cranial nerves acting up. I want to say Cranial Nerve II. Cerumen impaction. ear wax? What does that have to do with Tinnitus? (ringing in the ear) the dizziness and balance problems are due to something in that area of the inner ear. Ear wax doesn't come close to it. Otosclerosis sounds plausible. (get it?) But the balance problems and dizziness? Presbycusis is normal loss of hearing quality due to aging. No Tinnitus.
