My Ear Hurts, Is this tinnitus caused by music to loud or something else?
I can feel like a tiny bit of pressure near my jaw area, like when I open up my jaw and stuff, And it feels like something is not stabing but genty pushing my iner ear in a little bit. I thought for sure this was from Loud Music, which case I listen to loud music all the time, well before this started. Is it possible this is from a wax build up or something, I take care of my ears though.Well if it was the music, why won't it stop hurting, this is the 5th day now.The night the tinnitus set in, This is what I recall. I was listening to music, Not loud but at a normal volume, It just snowed First time in South Carolina in like 2 3years. When it started to snow the power went out, When the power went out I crawled into bed and layed down, I then felt a rushing sound like water rushing through my ears, didnt think to much of it. After that My left ear started to hurt a lil and ringing, its been 5 days now, the ringing has yet to sease.I have been using my Earbud headphones CX500 as Ear plugs for the last couple of days, not listening to music but just protecting my ears, hopeing it goes back to normal.My dog, is a pitt she sleeps at the foot of my bed, and The Q tips are use are kind of a cheap off brand not the good stuff.
Do have tinnitus or used to have it? How did you fix or cope with it?
I'm only 14 and I've had ringing in my ears for the past month. The ENT basically said he doesnt know. Please help me
Why Does My tinnitus Get Louder With SOUND?
Please for the love of god someone please give me a right answerWhen i sleep its a hiss with a small chirp when i listen to music it gets worse and worse and worse till i have to turn it back off.pinacola hope you happen to stop back by, when you say blood pressure, Um, I worked for 5 6months straight working 2 jobs i have a moped winter came I quit both my jobs took my money and basically been sitting on my ass renting my rooms out smoking weed every second of the day and listening to loud music... so from what you heard would you say blood pressure?If it was acoustic trauma, is it possible that when i listen to sound the tinnitus gets worse?I belive I heard the ringing and I was still bumpen music cause I didnt know it was a permanant ringing at the time.I do remember when the electicity went out and I layed down in Bed and I first felt the effect... It was, seemed as if it had something to do with pressure, Outside pressure, wether pressure, my blood pressure. I dont know but it had something to do with pressure.And also you guys gotta undertstandMe, Losing hearing.. to Music?????? Its just not happening.But I do admit that before it started happening I changed to the crapiest food you could ever imagine to save money, Like pop tarts 3 days outta the week, Frozen foods that you microwave, Chef boy ar dee. Like Cheap stuff, going from nothing but beef and delicious food to frozen food.You guys say I should spend a good day running outside in the sun sweating like shit and getting a tan? Getting good food again and living life again..Last thing Imma say is this, My left ear is the one thats being a bitch most of the time, It NEVER bothers me when I sleep only when i listen to the slightest amount of music. And theres no way my right ear could of had ear damage, I had the subwoofer on my left side.K last thing I remember I listen to my ipod all the time and In my left ear I couldnt have the damn ear pod in my ear all the time, Sennheiser Cx 500. IT like bothered me seemed as if my left ear was getting pluggedIOOOOOOOOOOOoALSOI had verry verryyy veryyyyy fuckedup sleep paterens soon as winter Hit, Id stay up for 2 days, sleep for 2 days, sleep during the day, stay awake at night, then flip it out of no where, stay awake at 6 00 in the morning fall asleep at 8 00 pm like... My sleep was ALLLLLLLLL messedup.Also I just got into marilyn manson about 2 weeks prior and I wanted to start killing people and Take black people and put them on a white cross, then my tinnitus hit. lol.Under alotta stress, wanted to kill my roommates, Worried about money and Who was going take my roommates spots once they moved out... I mean im 23 I have my own house, I have no parents, I have alotta shit to worry about.K I think i figured it out, Not a good diet, Weather changes, Then3 days prior Big line of cocaine, Already under stress, It was a load of things hitting at one time i belive.

Hearing impaired, now tinnitus?
I'm 15 & lost about 80 % of my hearing in my right ear.All of my mom's aunt's have hearing loss. I know at least one has gradual hearing loss. & when I was 4 I had a rising fever that went up to 103. I remember when I was 5 my friend tried letting me listen to music w ear buds but I couldn't hear it out of one of my ears.So either genetic or fever?I used to have a hearing aid...but I think a friend's dog ate it...Lately I've been hearing a ringing in my left ear a few times a day, it lasts like 30 seconds. I might be hearing it in my right, but I'm not sure.What's going on w the ringing? I don't listen to music loud at all or wear headphones ear buds. I don't use aspirin that much, either.
Exercise and increased tinnitus?
I ve had tinnitus for at least 7 years . Sometimes it is almost gone. My question is why does it get louder when I work very hard like chopping wood for a couple hours . I even where ear plugs .I thought that exercise was supposed to help tinnitus

Having tinnitus, also known as ringing in the ears, makes me feel lonely, agitated, sad, and depressed most of the time. I went to a hearing specialist, and I can hear above average with both ears, and he gave me water pills for my ears and that didn't work. I remember the exact moment that the tinnitus started without my consent, and that started in July 2007. Ever since then, I have been suffering from this tormenting condition. I am also waiting for a prayer to be answered that the tinnitus will stop as it so easily started. Has anyone found a cure or successful treatment for tinnitus?
Are there ways to treat or stop pulsatile tinnitus?
I have had this thumping sound in my ear since November, it goes with my heart beat. I've seen several doctors about it, an ear, nose, throat doctor, an eye doctor, had my blood and urine looked at and had MRI MRA with contrast to look at my veins and head. They haven't found anything wrong that could cause this and they say there is nothing else they can do. So what do I do now? I'm glad nothings wrong but I want the noise to stop, is there any way to make it stop?
Does quietus work for tinnitus?
I have had a ringing in my ears tinnitus that makes it difficult to sleep since a concert in 1986. I see this Quietus product advertised, " Discovered by a drummer" which would be the same cause as me, loud noise. Has anyone tried this, does it work?

Tinnitus Anyone with good advice?
It's Been 6 Days Now And The Ringing In My Left Ear Has NOT Stoped. Sometimes it is a hissing small hissing sometimes loud hissing but then goes back to ringing. Is this going to be permanant? im sure its from loud music unfortunatly. I mean is there a possibility that my ears are " healing" and can get better.Also another thing thats driving me insane is my tinnitus will be somewhat fine then when i turn on music to cover it up the tinnitus gets louder as the tv, music gets louder... its driving me nuts.
Tinnitus remedies -recent research?
Has there been any advance in the treatment of tinnitus? I have been told that there is no treatment available but wonder if there is any promising on going research.
