Certain types of noise make mine worse, generally high pitched and have lived with it for a long time...some days are better than others you just kind of get used to it . Not much help I know but you have my sympathy, best of luck.

This depends, it almost certainly will if you are working in a very noisy environment, you say a music shop if you are exposed to loud levels of music especially through earphones then yes you'll will undoubtedly damage your ears and you will have permanent tinnitus that will not go away, now a lot of people including doctors will tell you that nothing can be done and to just learn to live with it. They are both right and wrong because again it depends on how the damage was done, any disease involved etc, It's all down to individual cases some people have surgery and some people use an hearing aid set on a low setting to combat the tinnitus there are also some medicines available but beware these can be cortisoid or steroid treatments that have there merits but also side effects , either way you need to find a good ear nose and throat specialist to advise you and make sure you get a proper audio gram done hcd2.bupa.co.uk/ fact_sheets/ Mosby_factsheets/ Tinnitus.html

I also have tinnitus and in some hospital audiology departments they have people who advise on tinnitus treatment I was told to change my diet no caffeine no salt added to meals no chocolate! I was also advised to get one of those machines that produce sounds and keep it on all night you know the ones that do the 'white noise ' tide coming in or falling rain It's a job to get used to but you have to do it for six months It might be worth asking to be referred to an ear nose and throat clinic and also googel the tinnitus organisation web site they have a lot of useful tips Good luck I have two different sound in both ears and know it can be really miserable so I symapthis but it can be dealt with

There's no way to ease Tinnitus. Music, concerts, and loud events can make Tinnitus worser and sound louder. It's best to avoid these.
