My tinnitus helps me pick up very quiet sounds?
Alright i have tinnitus right? But all the time when my tinnitus is kicking in......I can hear air changes like when someone opens a door. It's like a high pitched tone....then gets higher when someone walks past,opens something or sometimes when the temperature changes? is this normal to pick up very quiet sounds?

okay. so i used to get ear infections all the time, and the last one i remember was really bad and i had like a blister in my ear gross i know but it like popped or something and i've had a ringing in my ear ever since. that was like 7 or so years ago. i'm pretty sure its tinnitis, but is there anyway you can get rid of it. i have really bad hearing, and i dont really want to get a hearing aid at age 17. that wouldn't be too fun.oh yeah. sorry its not an earring infection, its one of those that are deep inside the ear.

Hi I got A ringing in my ears tinnitus have it a few months now but lately its driven me mad i have being on antibiotics the last week and my ears seemed to have got worse would the tablets have made it worse?? and my i have problem's with my tonsils would that be why i have tinnitus? Can this be TMJ on of my jaw bad TINNITUS..HELP PLEASE?
hi i think i have TMJ sometimes when i brush my teeth I get this bad spasm on my jaw..it travels from teh end of my jaw to my chin area, and i also have bad tinnitus... can this be the cause? also when i bite down hard i can hear the loud buzz in my ear the tinnitus gets bad when i chew hard any ideas to help this?

i went to an ear doctor and i have tinnitus i got good for awhile but i went back to work i work in a music shop and it seems to have got worse the ringing has got worse there is no ways of easing the noise and getting more comfort is there?? Will I have this For Life?? or will it go away in time?

Ive had tinnitus for about two months now. Ive been to loud concerts and played loud music yadda yadda yadda. So I went to an audiologist ear specialist . They tested and looked at my ears for any problems, none. I even scored better than average on the hearing test. Could this be just a natural thing? Am I OK going to concerts? Earplugs though from now on just because it scared the crap out of me . Would I be ok if I took earplugs out for one band at an outdoor concert if the set was only an hour or so?I don't want " remedies" or " cures" , sorry. I want someone to answer my questions.

Ringing in ears? tinnitus? help?
Ok well, i figured out that the ringing in my ears was from my tv. so i turned it off, and the ringing was gone. a few minutes later i come back in the room and i hear it, with the tv off. i went shopping, to school, and i didn't hear it, so its not bad.i'm seeing an ear nose throat specialist, so i'm glad about that.would what i experienced be considered tinnitus? and i went to the dr, he said my ears were fine. i told him about the ringing
One-sided tinnitus- help, has anyone had it?
I have had tinnitus like a roaring or hissing sound usually for a couple of years or more. Normally is was on both side, with ocassional pain in the ears as well. Now on and off since my sinus infection and anti boitics a couple months ago, it seems to be mostly in my right ear. There are some pains in that ear as well. I have gerd which I read can affect the ears, and the ent said I have a very " twisted" spetum on the right the same side as the pain . You couldn't tell from looking at me that I'm " twisted" in the nose .... Has anyone experienced any of this, or know if the other conditions I have can effect ear " pain" and increasing tinnitus on one side? I do have another appt. next week, but I wanted to know of others with similiar " ear expriences."

i got tinnitus the last 8 months had a bad throat and tonsils got them out lately the tinnitus kinda relaxed bit more since the tonsils came out got a mri and every thing seems to be ok but its still there i tough it mite have being the tonsils doing it had my op 3weeks ago mite it need time for everything to settle down for the tinnitus to ease??? and i find when i eat a big meal my tinnitus get loud?? couldi be stretching something?
