Is this temporary tinnitus?
Ok so I was at a concert last saturday right next to the speakers. After the concert I had a ringing in my ears and my left ear sounded muffled. After 3 days, the ringing was still there and the ear was still a little muffled. I went to the doctor and he told me I had some hearing loss and sent me to an ENT specialist. The appointment isn't till next month though. I'm starting to worry cause the ringing in my ears won't go away and I feel like I hear just fine out of my ear now. Will it go away? Has this happened to anyone else before?
Will my temporary tinnitus go away? Pls help......?

Can temporary tinnitus last weeks?
I took Levaquin for 10 days. Come to find out it's an ototoxic drug considered moderately so, with < 1 % getting tinnitus from it . I'm not sure if that's the problem or not. My right ear has a low, but noticable high pitched ringing that pulses like a kaddydid bug. It's been with me at least a week now, since I started to notice it. There are days where it does seem a bit better, today not being one of those. My question is can this be a temporary tinnitus, even though I've only had it for a couple weeks or so? If the drug has caused it, when it's out of my system will my hearing return to normal? I've been off the Levaquin for 3 weeks now. I'm 30 years old. Also, for a couple of weeks I think my allergies have been acting up. We have record levels of ragweed in my area right now. I don't usually have allergies, nor do I get the runny nose, but my head has felt pressurized for a while, and my hearing has been muffled like you get when you have sinus pressure. The thing is, today I feel a lot better, but the tinnitus is having a worse day.

Temporary tinnitus from scuba diving and i think a cold. When will it go away? What caused it?
I have tinnitus right now and have had it for a few days. I have had a cold for about a week and have scuba dived six times. I have tinnitus right now, a high pitched ringing in my ears that sounds like that high pitched tv noise when you turn it on that only young people can hear. I am only 18. I have not been exposed to loud noises or anything. When will this go away? What do you think caused it? My mom thinks it is from putting a lot of pressure on my ears because of the cold and then equalizing my ears by blowing under water, so she says it was double the pressure on the ears and she thinks that is what did it. what do you think?
