I have tinnuitus, constant ringing in one ear. Does anyone have practical suggestions for coping with this?
I experienced a sudden loss of hearing in my left ear and subsequent tinnutis. My doctor, or anyone else, has not been optimistic about the tinnutis subsiding. I am hoping to hear from anyone who has dealt with this and what coping methods have been effective. There is no cure, that is quite clear in doing any research. I look forward to hearing, with my right ear, any suggestions.
4 weeks ago I started to have ringing in one ear. Doc said it's a virus. How long does a virus usually last?
Hearing was checked and it is fine. I'm only 37 and in good shape. I have no reason to suspect any damage to my ear. Only reason I'm nervous is that it's been so long
I have muffled hearing/ringing in one ear due to firecracker how do I solve this?

It has been 2 days since it started it is very annoying and its only in my left ear. When some one talks to me, in my left ear it is muffled and its starts ring very loud. Lately this strange thing has been randomly happening where I'll lose the ability to hear out of my left ear, although I can hear ringing sort of like static on a radio or something. At the same time I'll feel really light headed and weird, almost like I could fall or pass out. It's somewhat alarming to me as this has happened maybe 5 times now, about every week or two. It lasts from about 5 to 10 minutes. I'm a 24 year old girl as well, in moderately good health. Is this cause for concern? Is there anyone in the medical profession with an idea of what this could be?
