I have muffled hearing/ringing in one ear due to firecracker how do I solve this?
So a small firecracker went off in my ear the other day causing intense ringing and muffledness. It happened almost 2 days ago and nothing has really improved. Is there anything I can do to help regain my hearing or will it eventually heal on its own?

Right then, since January last year i have had this very strange ringing in my right ear.It all started when i was getting over a bad cold, i woke at 2am and i blew my nose and my ear popped and it hurt for a few minutes im not sure is that is what caused it but since then i have had a high pitched ringing in my ear as well as a different pitched ringing that sounds like morse code and another one that is kind of like a pulsating ring but that one isn't always there, i can only hear it when it is somewhat quiet. What do you think to this?

Loss of hearing/ringing in one ear + woozy/lightheadedness = ? Please help! Any nurses out there? 10 points!?
Lately this strange thing has been randomly happening where I'll lose the ability to hear out of my left ear, although I can hear ringing sort of like static on a radio or something. At the same time I'll feel really light headed and weird, almost like I could fall or pass out. It's somewhat alarming to me as this has happened maybe 5 times now, about every week or two. It lasts from about 5 to 10 minutes. I'm a 24 year old girl as well, in moderately good health. I have started a workout regime 3 months ago, not sure if they could be related? Is this cause for concern? Is there anyone in the medical profession with an idea of what this could be?Thanks Nora I don't have allergies and haven't been congested. This only happens like once a week or so... it's the only thing really wrong with me.

Ringing in one ear... help?
A couple of weeks ago I noticed for the first time a very quiet and very high pitched ringing in my right ear. As soon as I noticed it, it was all that I could think of, and so it appeared to become very loud. I immediately became scared it was brain cancer, as I have had tinnitus for the better part of a year, and did some quick research back when I got it for the first time. That was after I went to a particularly loud concert in February. Anyway, since I noticed it, it's basically the only thing I think about, because I don't know if it's new or if I've always had it. I cannot hear it in most situations, but it is quite apparent in empty rooms, and only in my right ear. If I concentrate, I can make it go away, but it soon comes back again. Sometimes it is loud, sometimes it is quiet. I haven't done anything recently to have caused it I haven't had any head injuries, I haven't been to any concerts, and so I have become extremely worried that it is brain cancer. I'm only 17
How do you stop RINGING in one ear.?
I stopped taking hardcore meds 2 years ago due to a back injury. Was taking 4 80mg tab's of Oxycontin a day along with 4 doses of 10mg of Methadone. Two weeks later one ear started ringing & has been ringing ever since. Went to a Specialist $400.00 down the drain. I'll try anything except PEE in my ear. All answers are appreciated.Thank'sL.Jones
