Question: Ringing in ears, facial numbness, vertigo, clean mri?

Hello, About 2 months ago I had a migraine that lasted for 3 weeks. I've had migraines my whole life, but not like this. The migraine brought with it facial numbness, nausea and vertigo. The numbness isn't paralysis, more like I've been administered Novocaine. It goes from my lip to my eye to my ear and is worse when touched. The migraine went away after 3 weeks. I was tested for a host of things and was a tad anemic, but that's all. I was also given an MRI, which was clean. The numbness still comes and goes and has been joined by bouts of lightheaded- ness and ear ringing. I am 32, very healthy, workout daily and eat very well. I recently cut out gluten, dairy, peanuts and artificial sweetener. My doc is great, but I am stumped and I think she is too. Any ideas? Thanks Doc. I had been considering pressing for an MS test. I get the shakes pretty badly when these episodes hit. Thanks again, Christy |
