Hello I waked up today and noticed that I had a large ringing noise in my left ear and I noticed directly that it was tinnitus. I've never had it before will it go away by itself or will it be stuck forever?I've had some problem with the ear before. When I like touched the ear I have got the same kind of feeling like when you lift of with a plane and it doesn't go away for like a day or two.Should I see a doctor for this problem?

Any cure for tinnitus?

How do i stop tinnitus?
Ever since I started using earphones, I been starting to hear a ringing noise. I have been using earphones for about four months now.I been surfing the web and I found that this side affect is called tinnitus. What's the best way to stop this ringing sound in my ears? It sometimes sounds like water is running from a water facet. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I heard there was a gum that neutralizes tinnitus. Is this true?
If so, would the VA pay for it? They already give 10 % compensation if it's service connected, but I would think they should pay for this gum as well, at least for a few pieces a month to get occasional relief.

Please help im getting worried that i might have tinnitus, i hear a air rushing noise in my ear?
I went to the doctor and they told me i had swimmers ear, an ear infection caused by water getting into the back of your ear. i was given eardrops and about 4 hours later after taking 2 drops into my left ear i started to hear a rushing air noise, it has now been 24 hours since it started, is this just a normal result of swimmers ear and the ear infection or is it something that could lead to permanency, i'm really really scared and worried that it might be tinnitus, Please please please help

Tinnitus in teenagers?
I'm a 15 year old girl and I honestly can't remember a time in my life where I haven't had tinnitus ringing in the ears and it only mainly bothered me at night, I hear a very high pitched ringing noise but it's not too loud, and I only usually suffer with it in my right ear but I've lived with it, anyhow I had a viral infection a couple of weeks ago and I have slight vertigo an inner ear infection but no changes to the ringing in my ear however now I have a really bad cold and just tonight the ringing in my ear has got a lot louder and sounds like a washing machine, it also keeps coming and going and keeps changing the ear it's ringing in. It's nearly 1am in the UK and I have school tomorrow and I can't sleep with the noise is this tinnitus or something else and is there anything I can do? And have any older people suffered from tinnitus when you was a teenager, if so did has it gone? Any help will be appreciated Thanks
