Does tinnitus and constant ear popping always mean futre sudden hearing loss?
or hearing loss at all?Ive had tinnitus for almost 6 months now.i had other symtoms such as lots of ear pressure,sensitivity,ear popping which has got way worse,especially when i eat or bend my head a certain way,sinus pressure.i dont get the ear pressure and plugged ear really anymore.just popping,my tinnitus has got about 80 % lower where sometimes i could hardly hear it..and i now sleep fine.the ent said everthing looked finesinuses clear,that it may be eustachian ttube dysfunction due to allergies,gave me augmentin and nasonex.I have noticed the tinnitus has been better since not sure if by coincedence .im just afraid of hearing loss,as i can tell,i have really good hearing,no problems at all.so anyone experience thes symptoms and had any success??can it be something not so serious??also before 5 months ago,i have no history of ear problems...this was a sudden onset...

I have tinnitus in my left ear and I cannot figure out the cause?
I am only 28 and I am losing the hearing in my left ear. I have had an MRI and audio tests. The MRI showed nothing but the audio test shows that I am losing my hearing staring with deaper tone and now moving into the midtones. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to stop it? My right ear is perfectly clear.

Can I get used to my tinnitus over time?
It started on Tuesday, and all I want to do is cry. My dad is taking me to my preditrician tomorrow cause it felt like my hearing been reduce because my ears feel empty. I will probably have tinnitus for the rest of my life cause I played my Ipod a lot. It only in one ear and I hear THREE different sounds. Today when I was taking a shower I felt like I was getting a heart attack. I have not slept well in three days. So I basically ruin my own life at the age of fifteen. Since there no cure I guess I have to cope. So is it possible to ignore it.
I have tinnitus, but I'm deaf in that ear. How can this be?
A few months ago I lost the hearing in my left ear due so several ongoing ear infections throughout childhood that were never treated properly while I was in care. I now wear a hearing aid for that ear and am almost completely deaf now although this hasn't stopped the recurrence of such ear infections. One of which I have right now along with tinnitus which means I have the sensation of sound in my deaf ear its like a very high pitched noise. I'm confused as to how I have this as of course I can't hear anything in that ear. Being deaf in one ear is strange enough without this going on. I've been reading some stuff on tinnitus on the internet but none of the sites can explain how this can happen to a deaf person. Any one know?
Can you get tinnitus from a middle ear infection?
Over the past couple of days I've had a mild sore throat and I've been sneezing a lot. Starting yesterday or the night before I've also noticed a high pitched but not loud ringing in my ears, as well as the sound that speakers make when they're plugged into something with the volume turned up but not playing anything, y'know that kind of like " shhhh" sound. Today, starting around 4 24 AM when ringing woke me up, I've also noticed that my ears and head feel a little sore. Could this be an ear infection? I know I need to take it up with my doctor for a secure diagnosis, but since I have work I won't be able to do that til Friday or Saturday. Do you think it can wait that long?Also I work at McDonalds. I don't THINK I'm suffering from noise induced hearing loss I've been here for over a month already, and I think I would have noticed something before if I were losing my hearing.
Temporary tinnitus from scuba diving and i think a cold. When will it go away? What caused it?
I have tinnitus right now and have had it for a few days. I have had a cold for about a week and have scuba dived six times. I have tinnitus right now, a high pitched ringing in my ears that sounds like that high pitched tv noise when you turn it on that only young people can hear. I am only 18. I have not been exposed to loud noises or anything. When will this go away? What do you think caused it? My mom thinks it is from putting a lot of pressure on my ears because of the cold and then equalizing my ears by blowing under water, so she says it was double the pressure on the ears and she thinks that is what did it. what do you think?
