Question: Could putting garlic oil in my ears to help with tinnitus cause damage?

Nope. But it won't help, either. Make sure you aren't using any meds or substances that cause tinnitus. Mostly, there is nothing that really works to help or cure tinnitus. Even cutting the nerves to the ears does not stop tinnitus. The main thing that helps is a white noise generator that masks the sound. Sorry.
