Things that can help with tinnitus?
I've had tinnitus for a couple of years now my doctor says that there is nothing to do about it. I know that's not accurate and now I'm looking for information about things that can be done. I'm becoming deafer and I find it hard to follow conversations, I'd like to find a way to stop this.

for those of you who have tinnitus has it helped at all? I have ringing in my ears that wont go away and the doctor just told me it will go away eventually but it hasn't as of yet and I suspect it wont so what do I do in the mean time?circulation affects necrosis in a small manner interesting perhaps that's why my doctor said it doesn't work. Need help with Tinnitus. looking for some med etc...?
I've lived with Tinnitus for at least 8 years of my life. It hasn't been bad, tolerable. However a year ago, it has gotten significantly worse. I have 2 sounds. 1 sounds sort of like the crickets cicadas outside at night. And the other is a massive high pitch ringing you hear when you turn on the tv just 10x louder. But anyway, Ive went to ENT's and all they say is just stay away from loud noises and take this vasodilator meds, doesnt work..... Then i tried this quietus crap i heard the radio, made ringing louder and sharper, now i hear the ringing even when sound is going off. Quietus said it takes couple weeks for it to work, however I will not take the risk of ringing getting even worse and not working out. I just saw this new med sonavil??? anyone heard of it? Where can I get it? I heard you can get it OTC at like drugstores,, safeway etc...Please help

I'm in my 20's and actually haven't been exposed to loud sounds very much at all to my knowledge, but I've had tinnitus since I was a child. Is there anything I can take that might help alleviate it some?

Help with Tinnitus?
I have had an industrial high noise exposure. For two years the ringing has been constant. As foretold by the doctor, it has gotten worse, MUCH worse. I've been to that a med called Campral helps but the study was only done with 50 people in 2005. I need help folks. You all have always come through in the past. Please help if you can.
