Do you have any personal cures for tinnitus?
I have tinnitus and it seems to have gotten a little worse lately. I'd like to know from some people who also have it what has worked for you personally to alleviate the problem. If you don't suffer from tinnitus, no offense, but please don't point me to information on the Web I can look that up and have. I'm specifically interested in what has helped individual people. Thanks Thanks Mingo and good point. I shouldn't have used the word " cure." Unfortunately, there's no cure, due to the nerve damage. So I'm really just looking for what some people may do to alleviate or mitigate the problem successfully.

has anyone got a cure for tinnitus, i tried ginko biloba and i sleep with relaxing music in my headphones, but it is driving me crazy.its a loud piecing whistle all the time and it gives me constant headaches doctors can not help just give me sleeping pills which i take 3 times a week to get some reliefthankyou sbflyer9, I live alone and do not have any loud noises around me. I do snore though and the music i have on at night is only very low so it is not loud noises doing it. I am not stressed either, probably too chilled out though

im 14 years old and i suffer from tinnitus. i was up last night crying because i feel as if i cant take it any more i was thinking about the fact that its never going to get better and that i cant actually remember what silence sounds like im really scared that its going to get worse. i want to achieve huge things in life but i feel so depressed about it, most of the time i can just forget about it but as soon as there is no noise i can hear it again. the white noise thing does not help at all because it is not a hissing i hear its a combination of a very high frequency noise sound a very low frequency sound. i don't want any rubbish remedies that just make me feel worse about it. i was thinking about organising some kind of event that would catch the media's attention and help raise awareness of the condition but i need someones help from the outside preferably an adult.

I've had it about 5 months and it's driving me nuts. Have tried just about every natural cure and none work. Anyone have any cures that give some relief ? I've heard Xanax can help.
