Any non-medical treatments/cures for tinnitus?
Any treatments for the type of tinnitus where its constantly there? I usually hear it when im about to fall asleep or when its silent or w e. The only time i dont hear it is when im doing something but thats because it doesnt come to mind.

i have had tinnitus for all my life, and would really like to get rid of it, as it is such a pain in the butt, it never really gets worse, but its always there, a kind of high pitched tone like the old tv's when first switched on.any good suggestions, maybe diet, or herbal remedy. i haven't got the money to go to the doc, here in ireland its 70 a shot, so you can imagine how it will add up.thanks in advance, i would give all my points to get rid of it but i can only give ten, so i am looking forward to your answers. all the best

Im tired of putting up with it. I tried and still use antihistimines to keep the eustation tubes clear. As my doc suggested I tried Niacin. Besides the raging burn and flush I got all over my chest and face, that did nothing. I do not have the other symptoms that would indicate Menere's disease. But the buzzing hiss still hangs with me after 2 years. If you had Tinnitus and found how to make it go away... I would love to know. Thanx

The buzzing sound is unbearable.suffering from it since 20 years Yet to find a doctor who says this is the cure.Had 4 attacks of vertigo since 20 years .It recedes on its one in about 3 weeks.I had taken Theraflu sachet full the cold medicine, previous night before the latest attack of vertigo.

Why can't doctors cure it? I'm 15 and I believe i have a mild tinnitus. I don't have 24 7, and many foods and such I avoid lessen it. I've gone a couple weeks without it at times. Idk if i will have this for the rest of my life. Some say mild tinnitus can be cured.
