Help! 18.y.o. How can I stop getting myself worried that I have tinnitus?
Right so I other week I got all worried because I thought I may have tinnitus. I heard a high pitch sound at night, but then I realized it was the new TV and took the plug out. I couldn't tell if it was from an external source or my ears head.I was Google ing the next day and read horror stories ended up in tears etc..Now I'm paranoid about having it, even though I've gone to quite rooms and heard no high pitch sound. I am now constantly without purposely doing it concentrating to what I am hearing. I've become more sensitive to the computers etc and even the fridge whereas I never noticed these before .When I was going to sleep yesterday I thought I was hearing it again but I am not sure because as soon as I opened my eyes it went away. I keep during my day keep thinking " Wheres that coming from?" etc.. I think this is giving me a headache. and I've come to realize I never have peace and quite during my days, ever.Whenever I concentrate on any sound it gets louder.Another thing which worries me is, the other day.. at about 12 30am my little sister was annoying me asking me loads of questions, and I was tired, but I turned my head to the left quickly, and my head felt like my eye had popped that sensation you get and I heard a very loud high pitch noise. Which got me more paranoid about having it. What on Earth was that?Whenever I'm going to sleep I keep concentrating on everything I hear and its making me a little anxious and worried I wont be able to sleep way before I sleep. Also, I keep thinking what if etc and ending up in tears. Like if I had it for the rest of my life. then I think I'd kill myself etc. When I wake up the first thing I think is " what am I hearing" urgh It's annoying How can I stop thinking about it and get my mind off it?? I do have the fan on when sleeping BTW but I still do it....I try and differentiate the sounds coming from the fan the actual fan and the thing moving I am pretty certain I don't have it as I read " It is obvious to people who tinnitus they have it" I'm a worrier and a little bit of a hypochondriac I just don't want to focus on it anymoreI didn't realize how much I'd gone on. OMG sorry you don't have to read it all...... I know I wouldn't.May I add, that sometimes when someone with a deep phelm y voice talks to me I can hear my pulse in my ear....... Which after researching may be a form of tinnitus. I've had that for ages........so
Can you get tinnitus from a middle ear infection?
Over the past couple of days I've had a mild sore throat and I've been sneezing a lot. Starting yesterday or the night before I've also noticed a high pitched but not loud ringing in my ears, as well as the sound that speakers make when they're plugged into something with the volume turned up but not playing anything, y'know that kind of like " shhhh" sound. Today, starting around 4 24 AM when ringing woke me up, I've also noticed that my ears and head feel a little sore. Could this be an ear infection? I know I need to take it up with my doctor for a secure diagnosis, but since I have work I won't be able to do that til Friday or Saturday. Do you think it can wait that long?Also I work at McDonalds. I don't THINK I'm suffering from noise induced hearing loss I've been here for over a month already, and I think I would have noticed something before if I were losing my hearing.
I think I have tinnitus and I don't know what to do?
18 yrs oldgirldon't know why i got it, haven't seen doing anything for past couple of weeks.I am very scared and from what I've read online I think I have it.Do I need it diagnosed? I am massively scared to tell my Mum?also I share a room so white noise is impossible.......How can I tell my Mum... Anything I can do to check I have it for suremay I add during the day I get weird ear aches usually left side and my throat feels weird too but they only last like 2 Mins?

I have had this constant ringing in my ears from the past 3 days. So i went to an ent yesterday, he told me that I had ear infection i.e i had pus behind my ear drum. I just wanna know whether, will this constant ringing sound will go away once this infection goes away?

This has started ever since I got a new T.V in my room. And had to switch from using my laptop which broke to my computer. Anyway I power the PC and TV off from the switch on plug on the wall at night.Lets say it has been about 2 weeks with the fan on I have been fine but not every night to hot.I have Googled it and read horror stories and obviously got myself VERY worried.Now I am now constantly without purposely doing it concentrating to what I am hearing. I've become more sensitive to the computers etc and even the fridge whereas I never noticed these before .Its the first thing I think about when I wake up and I'm scared I won't be able to relax.When I was going to sleep yesterday I thought I was hearing it again.... but I am not sure ....because as soon as I opened my eyes and looked at my phone or something I couldn't hear it. I keep during my day keep thinking " Wheres that coming from?" etc.. to EVERY sound, I think this is giving me a headache. and I've come to realize I never have peace and quite during my days, ever.When I close my ears gently I don't hear it BUT if I press very hard on my ear I do. I think It is the left one which is weird as the other day I am sure it was the right one and I was like " argh I can't sleep on the left side though" If I DO have it I have no idea what would have caused it I have no listen to any music or anything. Temporary tinnitus from scuba diving and i think a cold. When will it go away? What caused it?
I have tinnitus right now and have had it for a few days. I have had a cold for about a week and have scuba dived six times. I have tinnitus right now, a high pitched ringing in my ears that sounds like that high pitched tv noise when you turn it on that only young people can hear. I am only 18. I have not been exposed to loud noises or anything. When will this go away? What do you think caused it? My mom thinks it is from putting a lot of pressure on my ears because of the cold and then equalizing my ears by blowing under water, so she says it was double the pressure on the ears and she thinks that is what did it. what do you think?

Idk, I've heard that Tinnitus can be temporarly. Idk if i have it temporarly or not. I don't listen to LOUD music. Like not to a point where everyone around me can hear it. Like im not full blast music on it. either do i go to a lot of concerts but when i do, i use ear plugs. So, I can the ringing in your ear at times. Not everyday, but every now and then. I'm currently under a lot of stress right now, so i heard that can cause tinnitus too. So is it the stress or music that is causing Tinnitus for me? and do i have it temporarily?
Coreg,Bisoprolol/HCTZ,Tekturna and Tinnitus?
I am taking the above 3 medications for blood pressure, i have came down with very bad Tinnitus also. Of these 3 which would more likely cause the tinnitus? Im thinking coreg but im not sure. How long does it take to get them out of your system?
